LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — A business in Lackawanna County has gone to the dogs. Camp Bow Wow hosted its grand opening Sunday in Moosic.
The business is the brainchild of a mother and daughter team who saw the need for a doggy daycare and overnight camp for pooches.
The first 50 people received some free Camp Bow Wow swag for them and their pups.
"I was thrilled to see not only the faces of our pet parents, but we had a ton of new faces here today. And I think that is what's most important for them to be able to see the facility, meet the staff. See how happy the dogs are that are here throughout the day," said Kristina Thomas, Camp Bow Wow.
The grand opening featured adoptable pets, live music, and food trucks here in Lackawanna County.
