You don't have to be a hiker to enjoy the delicious offerings at Hiker's Café No. 13 at Fishing Creek Lodge in Benton. We dropped by this cozy, rustic eatery to meet owner's Kathleen Bowes and Terry Gensel who treated us to some of their amazing sandwiches.
Hiker's Cafe No. 13 offers breakfast and lunch sandwiches, specialty coffee drinks and homemade baked goods. Terry prepared their popular sausage, egg and cheese sandwich served on a bagel and a fabulous brie, apple and honey panini prepared with local honey. Kathleen created a delicious piping hot specialty latte with homemade whipped cream.
Hiker's Café No.13 is situated in Fishing Creek Lodge At Ricketts Air B&B and is locate a bit over 4 miles from the water falls, hiking trails and Lake Jean at Ricketts Glenn State Park.
