LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — The 41st Annual Friends of Scouting Dinner was held Wednesday night at Mohegan Pennsylvania in Luzerne County.
The dinner, hosted by the Northeastern Pennsylvania Council Boy Scouts of America, raises money to provide quality scouting programs for children across our area.
A familiar face was also on hand for the event; Newswatch 16's Jon Meyer served as the emcee at the casino near Wilkes-Barre.
The event raised $130,000 for youth scouting programs.
