LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — A Halloween decoration is what first responders believe sparked a house fire Wednesday afternoon in Luzerne County.
Crews responded to the home along Ivy Drive near Shavertown just before 1 p.m.
One person was inside at the time; she says she opened the attic door and saw smoke.
Officials believe a battery in a decoration caught fire while in storage.
No injuries were reported after the fire in Luzerne County.
