SIMPSON, Pa. — Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting in Lackawanna County.
Police say two men were fighting around 2 a.m. Saturday at an apartment building along Morse Avenue in Simpson.
That's when Kevin Bowan of Fell Township allegedly shot and killed Harrison Carpenter, 37, of Carbondale during a fight.
Carpenter's death is ruled a homicide.
So far, no charges are filed, and the shooting remains under investigation in Lackawanna County.
