PHILADELPHIA — A man will spend decades behind bars after a crash that killed four people on the Schuylkill Expressway in Philadelphia back in April of 2023.

Three of those four victims were from Lackawanna County.

23-year-old brothers Tucker and Christian Schimelfenig and 24-year-old Michael Comerford of Clarks Summit were passengers using a ride-sharing service in April of last year when the crash happened.

Police say Victor Spizzirri was driving under the influence when he crashed into their car. The driver of that ride-share, Jan Santana, was also killed.

Spizzirri was sentenced to up to 52 years in prison.
