LEHIGHTON, Pa. — A man is dead after a tubing accident in Carbon County.
Dive teams from several agencies responded to the Lehigh River in Parryville Borough near Lehighton around 1:20 p.m. Saturday for a man in the water.
According to the Carbon County Coroner's Office, Chad Mumbauer, 44, of Bethlehem, was killed in what is being investigated as a tubing accident on the river.
An autopsy is scheduled for May 27.
Mumbauer's death remains under investigation by the coroner's office and the Lehighton Police Department.
