TUNKHANNOCK, Pa. — State police in Wyoming County are investigating after a woman was swindled out of nearly $100,000.
Troopers say a 72-year-old woman from Tunkhannock was led to believe she needed to wire her assets to a bank in Hong Kong to keep them safe.
Investigators say the scammers got away with more than $94,000.
