SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, Pa. — An exit on I-81 South in Schuylkill County was shut down due to an ammonia spill at a Walmart Distribution Center in Butler Township on Wednesday.
Officials say over 100 gallons of ammonia leaked from a broken valve around 12:30 p.m. at the Walmart Distribution Center near Pottsville.
No one was injured.
Crews shut down the Highridge Park Road Exit while they cleaned up the mess before reopening around 6 p.m.
