Scranton man charged with attempted homicide in Wilkes-Barre shooting

One person was wounded during the altercation in April.

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — A suspect in a shooting in Wilkes-Barre is now accused of attempted homicide.

Damel Wright of Scranton was arrested in April.

Police say he is the person who pulled the trigger in a shooting on McLean Street in Wilkes-Barre earlier that month that injured one person.
