HAZLETON, Pa. — A vehicle collided with a police car that was transporting a victim of a different crash in Luzerne County.
Around 1 p.m. on Friday, a child was hit by a vehicle and was lying in the roadway not moving.
Officials say due to the extent of the child's injuries; officers decided to take the child and their family to the hospital.
An SUV then crashed into the police car along West Broad Street between Wyoming St and Laurel St. Due to the accident, the street was shut down.
No word on the child's condition or any other injuries in Hazleton.
