Parents enter guilty pleas to child endangerment charges in Luzerne County

The mother and father are scheduled to be sentenced next month.

WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A mother and father have entered guilty pleas after their six children were found living in filthy conditions earlier this year in Luzerne County.

In February, police responded to a call at a home along Metcalf Street in Wilkes-Barre Township.

When they arrived, they found a massive amount of trash inside and a 2-year-old with feces on his face.

Dana and Richard Rause both entered guilty pleas of endangering the welfare of children.

They are scheduled to be sentenced in January in Luzerne County.
