PLAINS TOWNSHIP -- Some folks were working out for charity in Luzerne County on Sunday.
It was all part of a two-day event at NEPA CrossFit near Wilkes-Barre.
Nearly 200 athletes competed in the "Holiday Havoc" CrossFit competition both Saturday and Sunday.
Some of the money raised will go to Toys for Tots in Luzerne County. Some people also brought some toys for the kids.
Competitors were thrilled to see working-out combined with helping charity.
"It's an amazing event, so much fun to come out and see the crazy CrossFitters and compete and see how you can do. But it’s amazing because we can give back to Toys for Tots, which is such a cool charity," said Emily Rowlands of Selinsgrove.
A total of 55 teams took part in the event to raise money for Toys for Tots.
