LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — A well-traveled road in Lackawanna County will be closed until further notice to repair a dam.
On Friday, a crew was working on a dam improvement project at Curtis Reservoir in Madison Township when a land subsidence caused an excavator to slide into the water.
PennDOT says Reservoir Road between Main Street and Aberdeen Road will be closed so the equipment can be removed from the water and the dam can be fixed.
No word yet on when Reservoir Road will be able to reopen in Lackawanna County.
