LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — Road construction work in Lackawanna County is causing a slow-go for drivers.
PennDOT is closing the Route 435 south exit (2) in Dunmore to reconstruct the exit. A detour is in place.
Work is also underway on Interstate 84 east and west to switch lanes on the Twin Bridges project in the same area.
PennDOT expects backups in the area through Thursday evening.
The Route 435 exit will be closed until the fall of 2024.
