SCRANTON, Pa. — Former State Representative J. Gaynor Cawley has passed away.
Cawley was a lifelong resident of West Scranton and served as a state legislator in the 113th District for twenty-five years.
According to the Citizen's Voice, Cawley passed away after a two-year battle with cancer.
He was 79 years old.
