SCRANTON — Nursing students at Marywood University in Lackawanna County will have the opportunity to finish their degrees at another university.
Marywood and the University of Scranton finalized an agreement Wednesday that will allow current third-year Marywood nursing students to finish their degree at Scranton.
This comes after Marywood announced in April that the school lost its accreditation because the nursing program did not comply with certain standards.
The new agreement with the University of Scranton says third-year Marywood nursing students in good academic standing can apply to transfer to Scranton.
