An auto group in our area is accused of false advertising and illegal auto financing.
The state attorney general's office says it has reached a settlement with the Rosado Auto Group and four of its dealerships for bad and illegal business practices.
Among the dealerships named: Dickson City Hyundai, Brodheadsville Chevrolet, Lehighton Kia, and Milford Chrysler Jeep Dodge.
According to the attorney general's office, in some cases customers had their vehicles repossessed after getting financing they couldn't afford. Also, investigators allege the auto group pressured customers into buying a new car by holding onto the keys of a potential trade-in making a shopper feel trapped at the dealership.
