Ronnie D'Eliseo from Pittston Area won the boy's 110 High Hurdles event on Tuesday at the 2013 District 2 AAA Track and Field Championships at Scranton Memorial Stadium. From start to finish it was the Patriot posting a winning time of 14.33 seconds.
On the heels of the 110 high hurdles Jess Kurey from Abington Heights won the girl's 100
Gabby Alguire set a new District 2 AAA record in the girl's discus. Alguire from Tunkhannock threw 139 feet 5 inches for the new mark.
Anthony Bouselli from Wallenpaupack won two gold medals. First in the discus with a winning throw of 165 feet 7 inches then later in the event Anthony took first in the boy's javelin in 192 feet 10 inches. Jenn Slagus won her 4th gold medal in the discus taking first with a throw of 126 feet.
States start May 24th in Shippensburg.
