HAZLETON, Pa. — Kayla Keefer scored the first goal of the game for Central Columbia on Tuesday night at Harman-Geist Stadium in Hazleton. It was a cold chilly night in Luzerne County as the Blue Jays played the only team that had defeated them earlier this season. Northwestern Lehigh was that team and came into Tuesday night's "2A" Girl's Soccer State Semifinal match-up with tons of confidence, but it was the team from District IV that pulled off the 4-0 victory to head back to Friday's state final at Eagle View Middle School in Mechanicsburg at 10am in the morning. Central Columbia will be prepared for the early start having already played a state final on the Eagle field back in 2022.
