Decades-old egg hunt held in Sullivan County

Families came together Saturday morning for a decades-old Easter egg hunt tradition at the American Legion Loyalsock Post 996 in Dushore.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Pa. — It's a big tradition in Sullivan County, as a special Easter egg hunt in Dushore has been going on for more than 50 years.

The American Legion Loyalsock Post 996 hosted the annual egg hunt Saturday morning. Members also dyed real eggs for the kids to find.

Newswatch 16's Nikki Krize was there and even helped hide some eggs.

There were many different prizes and treats for everyone who participated in Sullivan County.
