SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, Pa. — A restaurant in Schuylkill County is celebrating 15 years in business.
The owners and staff at Basile's Italian Restaurant near Tamaqua are celebrating their 15th anniversary.
The restaurant has grown since it first opened in 2009, during the recession. Owners say everyone there feels like family, and without their staff, the last 15 years wouldn't have been possible.
"Everybody is like family. You know they keep the place going when we're not here. When we have stuff to do with our kids. They make sure everything is running the way it should be," said Paola Basile, owner of Basile's Italian Restaurant.
The restaurant's owners are celebrating the occasion by popping a bottle of champagne with all of the staff in Schuylkill County.
