SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, Pa. — A community in Schuylkill County is now without a police department.
Cass Township supervisors voted today to suspend police operations.
Supervisors also voted in favor of asking Pennsylvania State Police to cover the township near Minersville in the meantime.
Newswatch 16 contacted Cass Township for more details on what led to the decision, but we have not heard back.
