EAST PENN TOWNSHIP -- The owner of dozens of dogs that had to be removed from a home in Carbon County in January was sentenced Tuesday to one year probation.
Humane officers removed more than 50 dogs, many of them were Yorkies, from her home along Kittatiny Lane near Bowmanstown.
Investigators say the dogs had serious skin infections and were living in filth when they were taken from the home in Carbon County.
