A man faces a rape charge after police said he sexually assaulted a woman in her home last year.
Michael Singaliese turned himself in to Williamsport police Wednesday and was charged with rape, sexual assault and indecent assault.
Police said the charges stem from an incident in Williamsport in March of last year. A woman told police she passed out in her home after a party and awoke to find Singaliese in her bed. He denied having sex with the woman but police said lab results which were recently returned to investigators showed Singaliese’s DNA on the woman’s clothing.
Singaliese is locked up on $25,000 bail.
