AVOCA -- The wet weather on Tuesday postponed work to paint airplanes on the pavement at the roundabout in Luzerne County.
The work at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport exit is now scheduled to be done Friday.
The roundabout has been criticized for being too confusing for drivers, so the painted airplanes are supposed to help lead drivers from Interstate 81 to the airport.
The idea for the painted airplanes came from a woman from Archbald.
