WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — A man is dead after a Friday night shooting, police say.
According to the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Coal Street in the city around 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Once there, cops found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Luzerne County coroner's office identified the victim as Kyle Declet, 30. Declet died from multiple gunshot wounds. His death is considered a homicide.
Investigators are looking for the shooter.
