ROSS TOWNSHIP -- One student was taken to the hospital Thursday when a school bus from the Lake-Lehman School District went off the road in Luzerne County.
It happened along Harris Pond Road off Route 118 in the Sweet Valley area of Ross Township around 7:15 a.m.
According to police, the bus ended up off the narrow road because the bus driver didn't think there was enough room for a large truck coming in the opposite direction to pass.
Some glass broke on the door of the bus.
One student was taken for the hospital for a headache.
Another bus picked up the students and took them to school.
