HANOVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery in Luzerne County.
Investigators say a suspect pulled out a gun and attempted to rob someone outside of the Burger King along Carey Avenue in Hanover Township around 6:30 p.m. Sunday night.
During the robbery, police say the gun was fired, and the suspect immediately fled. No one was hit by the gunfire.
The attempted robbery remains under investigation.
