KINGSTON, Pa. — A man is dead after a crash Wednesday night on Route 309 in Luzerne County.
It happened just before 11 p.m. in the southbound lanes between Kingston and Wilkes-Barre.
State police say a van with no lights on was completely stopped in the right lane when it was struck by an SUV.
The driver of the van, George Miller, 80, of North Wales, Pa., near Philadelphia, died at the hospital.
The driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries in the crash.
