PLAINS TOWNSHIP -- An $8 million expansion project at a hospital in Luzerne County promises to bring a higher level of care for heart health.
Newswatch 16 was there for a ribbon cutting Monday and an early tour of the new electro-physiology suite at Geisinger Wyoming Valley near Wilkes-Barre.
The new space has new technology and features specialists whose focus is helping people with heart rhythm issues.
The new suite at Geisinger Wyoming Valley is scheduled to open on August 1.
