LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — A federal jury found a man from Luzerne County guilty on child pornography charges Wednesday.
According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, 47-year-old John Watson of Luzerne gave a child alcohol and forced them to pose nude in 2021.
Newswatch 16 covered when Watson was in court in 2022, after allegedly kidnapping a teenager in Luzerne Borough and sexually assaulting her.
He is still awaiting trial in Luzerne County on those charges.
Watson will be sentenced on the federal child pornography charges next year.
He faces up to 150 years in prison.
