LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — High school seniors visited elementary schools in Luzerne County on Wednesday.
Students in the Dallas School District visited all their former schools as part of a tradition. Around 10:30 a.m., they walked to Wycallis Primary Center before heading to the other schools.
Students Newswatch 16 spoke with say it was a special experience.
"It was honestly amazing walking through all the old schools. It was great seeing all of my old teachers; I saw my little cousin, my friend's little cousin; it was just great seeing all the little kids and the journey they have ahead," said Haily Yakus, a senior.
Graduation is set for next Friday at Dallas High School in Luzerne County.
