MOUNTAIN TOP, Pa. — A market in Luzerne County used a little holiday cheer to help benefit a fire company.
Sisters in Sales hosted a Christmas market Sunday at the Broadway Tavern in Mountain Top.
At least 18 vendors set up to display their products. Proceeds from the market go toward Mountain Top Hose Company Number One.
“I know that their financial struggles are a burden,” said Joanne Joseph, organizer. “And so we have done this, this is the second time now, to raise money to benefit them to help them buy equipment and supplies.”
There was also a basket raffle and a 50-50 drawing at the market in Luzerne County.
