WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP -- The cold continued to be a menace Wednesday morning. A burst pipe has forced a restaurant in Luzerne County to close.
It happened just after 5 a.m. Wednesday morning at Smokey Bones on Mundy Street near Wilkes-Barre.
Officials said the pipe burst because of the cold weather and soaked the restaurant.
This is the second time this week a restaurant in the Wilkes-Barre area was forced to close because of the cold.
