SCRANTON -- The search continues for a man accused of shooting and killing a Lackawanna College student earlier this week.

Ryan Harding of Scranton escaped police Thursday.

Scranton police have an arrest warrant with first degree murder charges for Ryan Harding and searched for him in the city Friday.

Around 3 p.m., 911 dispatchers say they sent out a call to all police departments in Luzerne County to be on the lookout for Harding but investigators aren't saying where they think Harding might be.

On Thursday, Scranton detectives and a tactical team searched for Ryan Harding at several addresses in Scranton including along West Linden Street. Harding was nowhere to be found.

Police believe Harding fired two shots at Lackawanna College student Rahsan Crowder, killing him outside the college's dorms.

Scranton police arrested Harding's friend Marlon Clotter for allegedly being an accomplice to murder. Cops say Clotter told Harding to shoot at Crowder when the young men got into a fight early Sunday morning.

Witnesses told detectives Crowder was shot because he looked at his accused killer the wrong way. There was apparently no other dispute between the young men.

Detectives say the shooting was not gang-related but they believe Harding is a member of the gang the Crips. They believe that because of posts he's made on his Facebook page. But, they say, Harding hasn't posted on the social media site since they started searching for him.
