SCRANTON — A Scranton attorney turned himself in Wednesday on charges of having inappropriate sexual contact with a girl he represented in a civil custody dispute.
Attorney Jeffrey Toman, 32, was representing a woman in a custody dispute involving her 14-year-old daughter.
Police say he solicited the daughter for sex acts, sent her nude photos, and had sexually explicit cell phone conversations with the girl.
Investigators said it began in the summer of 2015 and continued into 2016. The mother found out in June and reported it to police.
