TAYLOR, Pa. — The community gathered in Lackawanna County to support some high school athletes before the kick-off to football season this Friday.
A pep rally was held at Veteran's Memorial Stadium in Taylor for students in the Riverside School District.
Friends and family helped pump up members of the football team, cheerleading squad, and marching band as they prepare to take on the Sabers later this week.
Riverside's season begins Friday at home against the Susquehanna Community School District at 7 p.m.
