SCRANTON, Pa. — The Waldorf Park German American Federation held its 4th annual Christkindlmarkt, a German Christmas market.
There were all kinds of vendors and a craft area for children where they could meet Santa.
Organizers say it's a great way to enjoy German culture while finding unique holiday gifts.
"Part of our mission is to keep pushing the German culture. So with bringing this back, we started it in 2020. And with bringing back an event like this, it really feeds into our mission, so we love doing it," said Cathy Wechsler, Waldorf Park GAF.
More than 40 businesses and other vendors participated in the German holiday market.
