SIMPSON -- A chemical fire at a factory in Lackawanna County sent two people to the hospital.
Authorities said the fire started just before 6 a.m. at Gentex Corporation in Simpson in a chemical mixing room at the business, injuring one person and shaking up another.
There is no word on the extent of the person's injury.
Officials said Gentex Corporation is expected to be open Tuesday.
