The maker claims Engrave It is a fast, easy way to protect your valuables.  Their motto is "engrave it and save it!"

It requires two double a batteries that are not included.  It does come with replacement tips and different size stencils to use when engraving!

To test Engrave It,  Newswatch 16 went to Superior Trophy and Engraving Company in Scranton.

They've been in business for more than 40 years and have done lots of engravings.  They wouldn't use a tool like this to engrave awards. They have engraving machines and laser machines for that.

The maker claims Engrave It works on metals, wood, glass, plastic, leather and more.  Jarrard Welby first tried it on wood, he used the stencil and engraved a smiley face.

It did well on wood but what about glass?

Jarrard never used Engrave It before and we thought his engravings were turning out pretty good.  Finally Kurt wanted to try it for himself and see how it would do on brass and steel.

Newswatch 16 tested Engrave It on a half dozen surfaces and it didn't disappoint.  We love this product and give it a big thumbs up!  For $9.95 it works fantastic at engraving things and also makes for a great gift.  Two big thumbs up for Engrave It!
