SCOTT TOWNSHIP -- Smashing coconuts and lighting lamps were part of the expansion ceremony at a business in Columbia County.
Mahindra North America used Indian culture to help celebrate its growth in the Bloomsburg area on Tuesday.
Mahindra assembles tractors and ran out of space at its old location. The business is relocating about a mile from the current distribution center along Columbia Boulevard and is adding 20 jobs to the workforce.
"This has doubled our facility now. It gives us a lot more acres now. We went from three acres to 12 acres. It's just given us a lot of ability to expand and to grow," said plant manager Dan Broadt.
