CARBON COUNTY, Pa. — The Carbon County coroner on Tuesday identified the 28-year-old Luzerne County woman struck and killed by a train Monday in Kidder Township.
Kumrie Zuberi, of White Haven, died of the injuries she suffered when struck at 4:45 p.m. by a train approximately two miles from the intersection of Tannery Road and state Route 534.
County Coroner Mark Smith pronounced her dead at 6:43 p.m. and determined her death was an accident. She was wearing headphones linked to her phone at the time of the crash, the coroner said.
The coroner's office and the Reading and Northern Railroad Police are investigating.

Officials say a woman in her 20s was struck and killed by a train just south of Tannery Road in Kidder Township around 4:45 p.m. Monday.
Her identity has not yet been released.
