Nurse faces drug charges in Carbon County

CARBON COUNTY, Pa. — A nurse in Carbon County is facing charges after allegedly stealing drugs from a hospice patient.

Police say Ashley Miller was caring for a terminally ill hospice patient in Penn Forest Township back in February.

Another nurse noted more than 200 pain relief pills missing after the patient died.

Miller faces felony charges of theft and abuse of prescription narcotics in Carbon County.
