PLAINS TOWNSHIP — One person was sent to the hospital after flames sparked inside a cabin in Luzerne County.
The fire started around 9:00 p.m., inside a cabin that belongs to The Woodlands on Route 315 in Plains Township.
A man was inside at the time and was rescued by a police officer. He was treated on scene and later taken to the hospital.
Authorities said a leaf blower that man was using caused the fire. The cabin sustained severe fire, smoke and water damage.
