POCONO SUMMIT — Police have filed animal abuse charges against two people from Monroe County.
On Friday, officers say they found two stray dogs wandering on Summit View Lane in Long Pond.
Neither dog was wearing any type of identification but police were able to trace them back to Richard and Geraldine Bailey of Pocono Summit.
The two allegedly admitted to police they were not able to care for the two dogs.
The couple from Monroe County was cited for abandonment of animals.
