1st Annual Craft Show

Scranton School for Deaf & Hard of Hearing Children sponsors the Craft Show.  The event features local craft vendors offering great designs and products.  Grilled foods and a variety of refreshments will be available.  Admission is free and it’s held at the school on Venard Road in Clarks Summit on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Rabies & Microchip Clinic

SPCA of Luzerne County sponsors the clinic as a good opportunity for a cat or dog to get a rabies shot or microchip at a reduced cost.  The clinic is held at the shelter on E. Main Street in Plains, Saturday, Sept 14, from 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.  All animals must be on a leash or in a crate for their safety.
