LEHMAN, Pa. — State police in Luzerne County are investigating a report of two missing people in the area of Pike Creek Reservoir in Lehman Township.
A state police helicopter was circling the area for a time Wednesday morning.
Newswatch 16 watched investigators take a blue Subaru Crosstrek out of the woods along with some other evidence bags.
Neighbors who did not want to go on camera tell us they saw a fishing camp in the woods near the reservoir but no sign of any people.
Troopers have canvassed the area, talking to neighbors.
Troopers have been here since midnight. We've seen a heavy investigative presence along with a forensics unit, but nothing that would suggest a search is underway, like a communication center or search party.
There is no word from authorities on what led to this search in Luzerne County.
