Clouds and showers stick around through tomorrow

The weekend looks primarily dry, but a touch cooler than average.

Clouds and showers stick around with us today, and tomorrow will be a repeat. Luckily, we will have a long mostly dry spell between now and tomorrow afternoon. An additional line of light scattered showers will move through around lunchtime for Central PA, and around 3-4PM for Eastern PA. They wrap up by midnight. Expect an additional tenth to a quarter inch of rain over that period. Saturday, a northwest wind will set up and may blow in some rogue lake-effect sprinkles in the afternoon, but most of us will remain dry and will likely see peeks of sunshine. Sunday will be the better of the two weekend days, with a mix of sun and clouds, although the breeze sticks around. Earth Day Monday looks like the best of the next few days, with less wind, gorgeous sunshine, and temperatures in the low- to mid-60s.

Friday: Mostly cloudy, a few afternoon/evening showers. High 60.

Saturday: Some sun to start, clouds fill in, a rogue sprinkle. Breezy. High 60.

Sunday: Mix of sun and clouds, still breezy. High 58.

Monday (Earth Day): Gorgeous day! Get out and celebrate our earth. High 63.

Tuesday: Increasing clouds. Breezy. High 65.

Wednesday: Showers likely. Breezy. High 58.

Thursday: Sunny, yet cooler. High 53.
