Brandon Matthews shot a 71 and 65 to win the Pennsylvania Junior Amateur Golf Championship on July 2nd and 3rd at the Hershey Country Club in Dauphin County. Brandon beat Zachary Herr in a playoff. Matthews is heading to Temple University in the fall and won the 2010 PIAA State Golf Title while playing for Pittston Area High School.
Matthews will be playing in an US Amateur qualifier in Waynesburg at Applebrook Country Club next week.
